How to integrate dynOZ in a TYPO3 based Internet Presence

For version 4.x of the content management system TYPO3 dynOZ offers a special module. This module makes the integration of dynOZ in you web-site particularly easy. You can download the module here.

Before you start the installation process you should select server-side integration on the Settings page in dynOZ and activate or update the data of your facility. The installation is done - as usual with TYPO3 - by the Extension Manager. After importing and installing the module is available for all pages of your web-site as a so-called 'Front Page Plugin'. In the wizard for integration of new elements it is located in the tab 'Plugins'.

In the configuration of the plugin you have to enter the webkey of your facility. This webkey can be found in dynOZ - if a product with server-side integration has been selected - in the data area in the preview section below the business hours. In addition, you can choose whether only the business hours of the current day (entry message block), or the full hours (entry business hours) are shown.

To ensure regular updating of the business hours, in most cases the cache times have to be adjusted for the pages presenting dynOZ content. This can be done by opening the settings of the respective pages in the TYPO3 backend and pressing the symbol 'More Options' next to the 'Page Title:' field. In the additional line that is shown a reasonable time (e.g. 1h) can be entered.
